Led by our wonderful Food and Beverage team and Executive Chef Sharath Kancharla, the Cucina on Hay squadra (Italian for team!) blends a love of authentic Italian flavours with years of high level hospitality experience from all around the world. Vibrant and talented, we invite you to exchange a story and a smile and get to know more about our team.

Cucina will be closed over the Christmas Period from 23 December 2018 - 13 January 2019. We will re open on January 14, 2019!

OUR TEAM

  MIXOLOGIST – ARTHUR TAVARES   Arthur’s favourite part of being a bartender is the one-on-one time he gets to spend with each guest… helping them choose which drink they’ll enjoy the most, or crafting something unique to suit their tastes. For Cucina’s signature drinks list, he short-listed famous Italian cocktails with some Australian favourites, adding surprise twists to the classics. As a Brazilian and 4th generation Italian, he loves to whip up both Caipirinhas and Negronis!

  BARISTA - JERRILYN SPECK   Jerrilyn had an interesting start to her barista career… considering she hated the taste of coffee when she first tried it! She’s come a long way since then, and you’ll now find her slinging perfect coffees daily from the Cucina on Hay Coffee Window. Jerry – as you’ll come to call her – believes the perfect coffee starts with heating the cup before the coffee shot is added, and it is this same level of love and attention that goes into every Cucina cup.

BARISTA - JERRILYN SPECK
